Wheeler Dealers 2022The one where the wheeler dealers came to learn spray wrapping Wheeler Dealers contacted us to help them out on a project. Their goal was to make an estate look and go like an M3. They dealt with all the rest, all we got asked to do was spray wrap it. But, in true Elvis style, he is very hands on and wanted to learn the process and have a go! First up - After many, many phone calls to arrange the crazy tight dealines! The car was to go and get its exhaust built, then be mapped and over to us. We had only 4 days to do the whole car... A PRO gloss finish! We managed to push that back a little and got a few more days..!! Phew! The car arrives!  In the planning phase I came up with a few designs all blue Opt 1 - All blue  Opt 2 - Black roof, handles and mirrors  Opt 3 - Or a black roof and handles with roof bar delete As you saw on the episode that they went with option 1, all blue. I preferred option 2!
Ironically, the car they were replicating and raced had a black roof! - Probably Carbon.  Cherry Foam ProductTo start - the clean, prep and mask the car! For this we jetwash it using the cherry foam shampoo! (Sorry we forgot to take a pic!). Dry, remove parts and mask   Next up, clean again  Black base is now down, and then time to await the film crew!   Elvis arrives   Lets get that colour mixed     That is all the blue down   Time for the gloss!   Completed project gallery
Products used in this project: -A great bunch of guys and girls came to film over a few days. Just like having people you know over and having a good laugh when making it. There was soo much filmed than used in the episode.
We will look forward with working with them again in the future!    |
